How it started
In 2017, brothers Rafi and Ara Hovagimian introduced Mix & Match to provide gourmet burger lovers with a restaurant where quality, quantity, and affordability come together to create a unique and highly satisfying experience.
Before creating Mix & Match, Rafi and Ara were frustrated and continually dissatisfied with other local gourmet burger restaurants that were overpriced and under-impressive. The brothers, who hold an extensive background in the culinary industry, set out to create a fast casual gourmet burger eatery that offered both signature menu items and the option for customers to craft their own burgers—all for a flat rate of six dollars. Rafi and Ara also highly advocate supporting local farmers, which means that the ingredients at Mix & Match are fresh and local.
